Terms of Service

Last updated: August 27, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Strunk, a service that publishes drafts from your AI tool to Google Docs, brings reviewer comments back into that AI tool, and applies approved revisions to the same Google Doc. By using Strunk, you agree to these Terms.

Strunk is operated by First Crack Studio Ltd, a company registered in Scotland with its registered office at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN, United Kingdom. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean First Crack Studio Ltd.

Early access

Strunk is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed as the service develops. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will give notice before charging you, and continued use is not an obligation to pay.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your Strunk account and for keeping your access credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Strunk, and you agree to provide accurate account information.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Strunk to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Publish or process content you do not have the right to publish or share.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Use Strunk to send spam or unsolicited communications.

Google Docs and third-party services

Strunk works with Google Docs on your behalf using Google's limited drive.file permission. Your use of Google Docs is subject to Google's own terms. Google Docs remains the source of truth for your published documents and reviewer comments. You are responsible for the documents you publish and for sharing them appropriately with your reviewers.

Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and content you use with Strunk. You grant Strunk only the access needed to provide the service — creating, reading, and updating the Google Docs you ask it to work with, and applying revisions you approve. Strunk does not claim ownership of your content and does not use it to train models. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

Service availability

Strunk is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important documents in Google Docs.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strunk is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Because Strunk is provided free of charge during early access, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.

Termination

You may stop using Strunk at any time and revoke its Google access from your Google account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. To request deletion of your Strunk account data, email us at support@strunk.io.

Changes

We may update these Terms as Strunk changes. If we make material changes, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
